Prices for divorces

The prices for unopposed divorces are as follows:

a) Unopposed divorce where there are NO minor children involved: R 15,000 (Fifteen thousand rand)

• This entails that either you or your spouse lives in the Western Cape.
• You both agree to divorce and agree on the arrangements for the property, etc.

b) Unopposed divorce where there ARE minor children involved: R 18,500 (Eighteen thousand five hundred rand)

• This entails that either you or your spouse lives in the Western Cape.
• You both agree to divorce and agree on the arrangements for the children, property, etc.

c) Opposed divorce where there may or may not be minor children involved: No fixed fee

• This entails that you and your spouse are not in agreement regarding the terms of the divorce
• Costs are determined by the amount of work required.
• A mandate would be entered into with the Firm regarding hourly rates, day fees, etc.

Payment arrangments

Payment arrangements for the unopposed divorce service are possible. However, this needs to be discussed and agreed to with the firm beforehand.
